Summary
These guidelines address cases involving the donation of sperm, eggs or embryos; donations between certain family members; and clinic assisted surrogacy.
These new guidelines, published in 2020, make clear the requirements for counselling and consent and the circumstances in which donations and surrogacy can be carried out.
These guidelines replace previous separate guidelines for each of:
- Embryo donation
- Donations between certain family members
- Surrogacy
- Donations of eggs and sperm together.
